There comes a point when a side project becomes bigger than the artist who created it. This happens when the new band has a life of its own, it's own fan base...who many don't even know the guitarist was in some 80s hair metal band. Late Night Alumni's famous member is EDM darling, Kaskade. I guess it's a sign of the times that when a DJ has a side project...it's an actual band. I've been recommended LNA for a couple years now...and two of the people who recommended them to me didn't even know that Kaskade was in the band. One of them didn't even know who Kaskade was. I told her he was a big DJ. She replied, there's no such thing. I just smile and nodded. I guess we won't be seeing her at EDC this year.

I tried. I tried hard to like this group. I listened to several of their tracks but I can't get over the fact that every song makes me feel like I am in a womens clothing store like Forever 21, waiting for my wife to come out of the dressing room.
